Kia Ora, this is my first art attempt using 'Sumo Paint Art. This piece of art is based on the movie Bridge to Terabithia. Sumo paint is a very easy App to use, but to use sumo paint you've got to have a good IMAGINATION. I think it's time that you all know, IMAGINATION is the key to life.

Annotated Reflection.

WALT: write an annotated reflection showing judgment opinion and analysis

SC:

1. use pt verbs that show mental processes i.e. think, wondered guessed…
2. use the help/Hindered box to structure your writing
3. Must inform the audience how you improve or did not improve
4. Must provide examples and explanations on why you became a better writer or not.

During term two our focus was narrative and reflection writing. I have never liked writing especially at my old school. If you saw me at my old school, I would have been that student who would have normally sat in the back of the class with all of his unfinished work around him. I did have big problems with writing and I knew I was below standards in nearly all of my work.

In term one I wrote in books and my work was untidy and I had to keep handing my book work around to other students just to be reviewed. I found that the book work was a problem for me. My books were always scruffy because they were always handled by teachers and students. This was so frustrating and hard, as my work wasn't set out tidy and I didn't like buddy readers.

Now l work on chromebooks it has really helped me in writing, as my work is tidy and it has hardly any mistakes. My writing work can be reviewed by sharing to another user on a Chromebook. It is by far, the best learning experience I have ever had.

What hindered me was the fact that I was below standards and my  work was so untidy. I had a lot of punctuation mistakes which stopped me moving up in my writing.

I think I have improved because the Read & Write app lets you review and check your work to see if it is correct before you go to Miss Simeon. As a result by using my chromebook I have improved in my writing and other subjects. Miss Simeon can also check on my work and leave helpful comments. I think I have made progress compared to last year and term one this year.

I like writing now because you own my learning. The best thing about writing is that you can make a whole world in your mind and then write about it and Miss Simeon doesn’t stop you.

Because I constantly write every day for every subject on my chromebook, I now feel confident as an author. I do believe I will carry on learning in writing, and because of this belief, I will continue to make progress in writing.

Levi the Giant slayer

Fractured Fairy Tale

W.A.L.T:recraft a traditional fairytale by changing characters,settings,main event and ideas but still making sure that the bone-structure of the fairy tale can be recognised

                              Levi the Giant Slayer

Levi was not always a giant slayer, he started life like a normal kid like you and I. Eventually he married to a lovely woman named beyonce and they lived in a rented house near a magical kingdom. They were not rich neither poor but could not afford to buy their own house. The only thing they had to sell was a  diamond necklace so Levi went off to sell the necklace.

Levi was not so bright, he came across a strange guy who was selling magic beans. “I have no money but I have a diamond necklace, do you want to swap my necklace for two blue magic beans?”

“Yes I will take it” said the strange man.

As soon as he told his wife, she was so angry and she threw the two beans outside the window. Levi was sad and went to sleep. The next morning he woke up and saw a huge beanstalk, Levi saw that his wife was still asleep so he started to climb the beanstalk.

After about ten exhausting long hours he finally reached the top. As he looked around there was a big castle with gigantic doors. Just then, out came four giants.

Levi ran behind a rock one of their nose twitched and he said “Fee Fy Foe Fum, I smell stink bum.”

Levi ran inside the castle without the giants seeing. Inside the castle he saw a goose in a cage. It was laying golden eggs. He quickly grabbed the goose and ran.

One of the giant caught him,  “Hey you little rascal Levi grabbed a sword  the giant tried to grab him Levi cut his hand off Levi saw a crown on the cut off finger he put it on and he was the ruled the giants they all bowed  before him.One of the giants were

not so happy. when Levi went to sleep one of the giants stole the crown.when Levi woke up he was in a bunch of flower with garlic. I command you to release me right now. you're not king any more. Levi threw a garlic at a knife hanging on the rack it fell and cut the giants eye. He grabbed the knife and cuts his legs and he fell over Levi ran outside grabbed the goose  by the beanstalk he slid down the leaves.

“GET HIM” they said he got to the ground and started to chop it down with a chainsaw he grabbed all the people that he could find when it fell  the giants run back to  their castle

after all that Levi is in his new castle reading his story of his great adventure and he lived happily ever after.

My Narrative story Black Ops

Black Ops

Planes crashing, nukes  killing everyone, machine guns killing everything in its path, blood everywhere!  Why is this happening?  The only choice was to fight.  Three years ago from today 3rd of May 2020 this war began.

My name is Remus, my friends call me Crazy Kumara Killer.  My friends Levi, John, Titan, Eru and Airym are all apart of the resistance known as the Wolverines.

This is our story….

4th of May 2020

“What is the Japanese military doing?” asked Eru.

“It has something to do with that tiny little box we’ve saw out in the streets. The Japs want to get their hands on it” replied Levi.

“What’s our plan?”  We need a plan.  We need to learn how to fight and how to use these guns!  I don’t know the first thing about dealing with Japanese terrorists. “Who knows how to kill these guys” panics Eru

“Well we need to get that tiny little box before the Japs get their hands on it and it’s a good thing Titan’s here then, huh?. “He’ll know what to do” I replied.

All the attention is focused on Titan, all are hoping and willing he comes up with a plan to rid our land of the Japanese threat.

“First of all,” Titan spoke slowly, “we have to kill at least four or five Japanese and take their uniform that they are wearing.” Titan stared at us to see if anyone would disagree. No one did. “Then we put on their uniform, weapons and explosives.”

“How?” asked Eru.

“I know how,” said John. “We go up to the city gates and we will be checked by the gate sentry. As they come up close, we overpower them and kill them with our blades. No shooting as we don’t want to draw any attention. We will leave now to get those gears”said John. “Lets go.”

Later on that day. There I was standing, waiting for the call from the leader first knew john slit one of the soldiers neck and we followed behind him then we set a bomb off in the city hall where hundreds of soldiers are there.

later on that day about 4 pm

“ohhh no !!! our base is raided why do they do this to us” ask Airym i don't “know but we gonna find out” said titan on the way to finding a new hideout we see that tiny box again we pick it up and kept going when we got to a old mine we started to read the ancient  symbols on it.It look like a code  “write this down” said titan 世丙丽亐卄且丁亙笹笥筍笙靨靧亗怔怍.

5th of may 2020 6 am

working out more plans to drive the japanese out of our city  how are we going to do that said Eru shaking nervously “we make it more bloody that they will refuse to stay.

2 hours later

kaboom a big explosion in the middle of the city it was a blood bath they threw a flash bang at me I was dizzy and i was about to drop like a sack  of potatoes, my friend Eru dragged me to cover while he was doing that he got shot in the spine twice he died that day saving my life.I got up and everyone was cheering and crying.  WOLVERINES,WOLVERINES,WOLVERINES.

9:30pm setting up claymores and c4 around the japanese headquarters ready to bring this building down, yes sir are you ready to kill every

japanese in that building, Yes sir while why are we standing move it move it move it.I can't tell you the whole story but  I can say that we won.we didn't kill all of them. now we sit there listening...,waiting for the next war

We celebrate our lost that gave his life up for us. We left this for another day till next time…
